Campaigners who are preventing construction starting on a new Metrobus project in Bristol have marked their seventh day of occupation. Many are now living in the camp on the council-owned site with people spending day and night in the trees on tree-top platforms which they are continuing to build. Notices have been placed on trees asking protesters to leave but they say that they will not go. The land is currently used by an environmental project and allotments. Metrobus is a controversial, £200M scheme aimed at improving transport links in Bristol. Bristol, UK. 8th February 2015.
