Skills and Solidarity Festival: 5th-8th March
This weekend we are having a Skills and Solidarity “festival” inviting people to come and share and learn and participate in solidarity for our campaign and actions.
This is not a “free party” but a family friendly event you could and should bring your kids and even your gran!
Come down to learn rope safety, activism and tree house building skills. If possible bring hand tools. There will be singing, dancing ans knitting!
There will be family friendly acoustic jams, camping & more entertainment and workshops to be announced. In the evening time bring a dish to share.
As always Rising Up is here to protect the land, leave no trace and respect the wildlife by keeping music and gatherings at the meadow kitchen area.
It is vitally important to note this is not a place to come and get trashed nor trash. The heart of this camp and festival is political and direct action and solidarity to save a beautiful and valuable wildlife rich Conservation Area and prime growing land. Thanks
